Boo was born and raised in Chicago, was graduated from St. Mary's College, Notre Dame, Indiana, with a degree in English Literature and a Secondary Education certificate in English and Math. She moved to Wausau following marriage in 1966 and began at Presto Prints in the summer of 1985 with prior work experience in teaching and retail.

I am an avid Badger fan, enjoy running, sailing, reading, cooking and spending time with three married daughters, their husbands and two grandsons."
